The Embers on Ice trilogy will end on a tropical note with a tasty wedge of pineapple in a Blue Hawaiian. Not literally. I wish. But due to Covid, I’m doing only an online party. This week-long event will have benefits for newsletter subscribers and those who follow my Facebook page and Twitter feeds.
I never intended to write a trilogy when I completed book 1: A Christmas in Montana. After Wildfire, Catching a Constellation, and Hibiscus Christmas, I think Matt and Orion deserve a toast of champagne or at least a shot of Irish whiskey. But since I can’t send that in the mail to my loyal readers, I’m going to give books away and post other related content instead.
Preorder Hibiscus Christmas up until April 30th at $0.99.
On publication day, the price will go up to $2.99.
If you preorder, the book will be delivered to your device of choice on May 1st.
For my subscribers and followers: I’m going to be sending out an email and making a post to my platforms with a chance to win a free signed paperback copy of the entire trilogy plus the bonus book:
1: A Christmas in Montana
2.5: Catching a Constellation (Boone’s side story) – Novella
3: Hibiscus Christmas
Yep, all 4 books!
It’s only open to US residents due to mail price increases with customs.
This chance to enter will go live on May 1st and close May 8th.
If you’re on social media, I’m also going to be sharing online snippets of Matt and Orion’s life, recipes, National day highlights, and some author tidbits during the week of May 1-8th.
Anyone who interacts with my social media posts during the week of May 1-8th will be entered into a drawing to have a future book dedicated to them. The more you interact, the more “tickets” you’ll get in the fishbowl. The winner will be selected randomly.
This is going to be my last romance kickoff until the holiday season. So get your fill while you can! I’ve got to return to my scifi readers for the summer. They’ve been patiently waiting for more content.
If all goes well with this launch and I make more than I spend, my plan is to donate a portion of my profit to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. After the holiday season rush in 2020, I was able to donate half of my profits to Wounded Warrior Project. I want to make this a regular thing, and am pushing myself to write more, better, and faster so I can generate enough to continue to donate to various critical organizations that I know my kind-hearted, generous characters would support.
Now if only we were all billionaires like Matt, right? Then we could help lots of people the way Orion likes to.
I hope you’ll join us for Launch Week and interact with shared posts on Facebook or Twitter. Or you can sign up to the newsletter to just snag the opportunity to enter for a chance to win the paperbacks, May 1st. Either way, thanks for your interest in my holiday romance books! I hope you are well and safe wherever you may be and that 2021 is better to you than hindsight was last year. Ha ha. 2020? Hindsight…
Best wishes from majestically awkward,
Elysia Lumen Strife
